Lynn Primm was born on July 20, 1940, and went to be with the Lord on Wed-nesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at his home in Atlanta, Texas, surrounded by family and friends.

Lynn graduated from Fairview High School in Camden, Arkansas, in 1958, and then attended the University of Arkansas where he obtained his chemical engineering degree in August of 1962. After graduation, Lynn went to work for International Paper Company in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Mobile, Alabama and finally made it to Texas to the Domino Paper Mill from which he retired in 1995. Lynn was also a cattle rancher, enjoyed golfing with friends, and loved to sing in the Master’s Men and Choir at First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Texas, where he served for many years.

Lynn was united in holy matrimony with Clara (Powell) Primm on June 15, 1963. This marriage blessed Lynn and Clara with three sons, Perry, Pierce, and Todd Primm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Otto and Barbara Lerlene (Snider) Primm; brother, John Primm; and sister, Carolyn Primm.

He is survived by wife, Clara (Powell) Primm; sons, Perry Primm and wife, Samantha Sherman, of Houston Texas, Pierce Primm and wife, Jennifer, of Pinehurst Texas, and Todd Primm and wife, Elizabeth, of Huntsville Texas; brothers, David Primm of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Charles Primm and wife, Evelyn, of Atlanta Texas; sister, Marilyn Primm of Camden; and nine grandchildren, Sidney, Mekenzie, Jacob, Pierce Jr., Parker, Joshua, Clarissa, Abigail and Jonathan.

Arrangements were by Queen City Funeral Home in Queen City, Texas.

A celebration of Lynn’s life was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, followed by a private graveside service at 4:30 p.m. at Smyrna Cemetery for family members.
