The Camden Fairview dropped a close one against 6A El Dorado on Friday night, 16-13.

The Cardinals took their first lead of the game in the third quarter, 13-10, and had a chance to extend it when the team drove all the way down to the El Dorado 20 yard line. However, fumble on a fourth down play caused the Cardinals precious yardage and gave the visiting team the ball near their own territory. The game winning touchdown would come by way of El Dorado's Alex Hicks (42 carries for 225 yards unofficially) from 10 yards out with 10:27 left in the fourth quarter. The ensuing field goal was no good.

The Cardinals would have another chance near the red zone with 5 minutes left but had another fumble.

C.F. was led by Erik Hall (17 carries for 138 unofficially and a touchdown) until his game was cut short by leg cramps in the third quarter. Troy Butler was the leading receiver for the Cardinals with 5 receptions for 59 yards. He had a 49 yard touchdown that was called back due to a penalty.

Sophomore QB Logan Robertson was 10/16 for 105 yards and one interception.
