CAMDEN — Sarah Bates
Sarah Lee Bates, 79, of Camden, died on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019, at the Ouachita County Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mary Jones.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Bates of Camden, Joe Lee Bates of Neenah, Wisconsin, Samantha Bethel of El Dorado, Loresa Moore of Texarkana, and Calvin Coggins of Minnesota; brothers, Robert Lee Jones and Richard Jones - both of Pennsylvania; sisters, Rosie Phillips of Camden and Alberta Norris of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21,at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Kidd officiating. Burial will be at Eternal Rest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, at the funeral home.
