Hubert Wayne Hall, 77, of Bearden, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, in Camden.

He was born on July 12, 1943, in Taylor, Arkansas, to David Valentine and Maxine Stapler Hall. After their untimely death, he was raised by his uncle, Givens, and wife, Perlean Hall. He loved hunting and gardening. He spent his career in logging.

He is survived by one son, Wayne “Runt” (Lisa) Hall of Bearden Arkansas; one brother, Jack C. Hall of Plain Dealing Louisiana; one sister, Annette (Howard) Downs of Stamps, Arkansas; one step-son, Bennett Hopkins (Teresa); one step-daughter, Maria Hopkins (Donnie) Evans; step daughter-in-law, Rose Hopkins - all of Bearden; special friend, Deborah Bardsley of Camden Arkansas; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and his companion of 50 years, Mittie Grace Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Maxine Hall of Hamlin, Texas, and Givens and Perlean Hall of Walkers Creek, Arkansas; one daughter, Shelia A. Curtis; one step-son Glen Hopkins of Bearden; and step-daughter, Deborah Hopkins Harcrow of Camden.

The family is thanking “everyone at Silver Oaks Nursing Home for the kindness, care, and compassion shown to Hubert and our family during both his stays there”

A Celebration of Life will be held from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Holly Springs Community Center in Holly Springs, Arkansas.
