Sandra Jean Moore, 74, of Little Rock died Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Cornerstone Rehab in CHI St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock.

She was born on October 22, 1945, in Camden, to the late William Elmer and Margaret Ryburn Lee.

She was a 1963 graduate of Camden High School, and a 1967 graduate of Henderson State Teacher’s College (HSU), where she played clarinet in the Reddie Band and was also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. She was a former public school teacher and had retired from the Department of Human Services.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock, and a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Camden, where she sang in the Chancel Choir and served as an Elder.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and an infant son, David Wayne Moore.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Moore of Little Rock; and William Lee “Bill” Moore, and his wife, Pam, of Beebe; and two grandchildren, Abby and Max Moore of Beebe; She is also survived by a sister, Sara Mitchell (Lou) of Camden and Florence, South Carolina; a niece, Lauren Mitchell of Camden; and nephew, Drew Mitchell of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by the father of her children, Duvall Moore (Juanita) of Hot Springs.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, with the Reverend Dr. J. Russell Snapp and the Reverend Dr. Lisa Corry officiating. Music was provided by Trinity Organist Choirmaster Victoria Harden and the Trinity Choir. A reception followed at Morrison Hall. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery (2801 Asher Ave.).
