NCSO Investigator Robert Missey shared that Thompson left a residence in Nevada County and had not contacted his family since that time.

A search party was conducted with surrounding agencies, but with no results.

Later, a tip was provided that Thompson was seen at a restaurant in Camden. Investigators reportedly confirmed with a waitress that Thompson was spotted in the restaurant.

Missey told the Camden News that Thompson has facial damage and is blind in his left eye as a result of a car wreck in 2010. He added that there is reason to believe Thompson is still in the Camden area.
