CAMDEN — Bobby Harris
Bobby D. Harris, 72, of Camden, AR, passed away Wednesday, December 25, at this home.
He was born September 11, 1947 in Camden, AR to Ed and Edna Tatum-Harris.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister; Janette (Ollie Mae) Boyd.
He was a retired employee of the Ouachita County Highway Department in Camden, AR, a 25-year retired U.S. Army Veteran, and loved hunting and fishing.
To cherish his love and memories he leaves: Sons; Dale Lee, Kevin Harris and Dylar Richmond Harris, daughters; Keisha Lawson (Andre), Shelly Scott, Lakeshia Sherman (Rev. Dale), Briana Harris, Shamika Harris and Tamika Harris, brothers; the Rev. Norris Flannigan and Elvin “Johnny” Harris, sisters; Mary Sue Walker, Elizabeth Glover, and Patricia Holden, 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held Friday, January 3, at 1 p.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Camden, Ar, with burial following with military honors at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Camden, Ar. Under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home LLC of Magnolia, AR. Rev. Norris Flannigan.
Visitation was held Thursday from 12-4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
