The Bearden Bears had a track meet against the Lafayette County Cougars as Bearden picked up its second win on the season and enjoyed a 52-26 Homecoming victory.

The Bears finished with 356 rushing yards and added another 107 yards in the air as Dominic Hammond completed 4/5 passes for two touchdowns. Lafayette complete 20 of 34 passes for 212 yards and rushed 19 times for 86 yards in the


Hammond accounted for 5 of Bearden’s touchdowns — two in the air and two on the ground and a 64 yard punt return. Kendrick Juniel caught a touchdown and ran for two, one

being an 87 yard touchdown run. Zach Marlar also caught a long 30 yard touchdown


On the defensive side of the ball, Jamalachi Hartley, Matt Tabory and Kathan Emerson combined for 15 tackles with the latter tallying three and a half sacks. Juniel, Marlar and Hammonds also had an interception
