A press release from Camden Police Department details the arrest of Darrell Atkins for a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance.

The release states, " On Thursday September 3, 2020 in the morning burn, the Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop on Darrell Atkins of Camden, due to him having a felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance Marijuana.

"A search of Atkins vehicle was conducted and several mason jars containing marijuana were located inside the vehicle. Approximately a half pound of marijuana was located inside the vehicle along with other drug paraphernalia.

"A search warrant was conducted at Atkins resident were several more mason jars of marijuana were located and another two and half pounds of marijuana was located along with other drug paraphernalia.

"Approximately three pounds of marijuana was located inside the vehicle and the resident Darrell Atkins is being charged with Delivery of Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Delivery. Use of a Communication Device. Maintaining a Drug Premises and Proximity to Certain Facilities."
