The Cardinal boys finished third place and the Lady Cardinals finished fifth in the 51 Cardinal Relays that were recently held.
Tamia Dandridge scored the only first place medal for the Camden Fairview Track teams when she finished first in the Girls Long Jump. She also placed third in the Triple Jump, fourth in the 100 Meter Dash and was on the fourth place 4x100 Meter Relay team. Sophomore Jayla Marks finished 5th in the Girls High Jump and was on the third place 4x200 Meter Relay Team and the fourth place 4x100 Meter Relay team. Shaqunda Davis placed third in the Discuss. Traonia Taylor, Waltera Stokes and T’Mya White joined Marks on the 4x200 Meter team and Alesia Rhodes was the fourth leg of the Lady Cardinals 4x100 Meter Relay team with Marks Dandridge and Taylor.
The high scorer for the Cardinals was Justin Scott who finished third in the Boys Pole Vault, fourth in the Triple Jump and second in the 200 Meter Dash. He was also on the fourth place 4x100 Meter Relay team with Rashaun Bush, CJ McAdoo and Brandon Copeland.
Jacob Utsey finished second in the Triple Jump and second in the 400 Meter Dash. Utsey ran the third leg on the Cardinals third place 4x400 Meter Relay team with Ka’liech, Jacovey Barker and Khoury Jones.
Barker finished third in the 110 Meter Hurdles followed by JaToney McGehee (4th) and Matthew Pouncil (5th).
Mark Welch finished second in the Boys Shot Put while Jalen Dandridge finished fifth in the Pole Vault and Kyron Kidd finished fifth in the Discuss.
