The Camden Fairview School district has sent the following letter to parents clarifying its COVID-19 policies
Camden Fairview Parents,
Your child's safety is the primary concern of the Camden Fairview School District.
Though most of us hoped school would return to normal this year, Covid-19 cases in Quachita County are going to prevent that. To limit potential exposure, we are not scheduling open houses at this time. Camden Fairview Schools' first day of class will be Monday, August 16, 2021 and we will follow CDC guidelines.
Due to the circulating and highly contagious Delta variant, Camden Fairview will require masks be worn by all staff and students K-12, regardless of vaccination status while indoors and on school buses
CDC guidelines state "In general, people do not need to wear masks when outdoors" Therefore, masks will not be required outside the school building.
Our teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for the first day with your child. Camden Fairview is committed to providing your child a quality education in the safest environment we can provide. We ask for your patience and support as we continue to navigate our way through these challenging times.
