The City and County will resume trash pickups after postponements caused by road conditions.

County Judge Robert McAdoo said, ”Ouachita County trash pickup will start back up on regular route on Monday. We ask Monday and Tuesday folks to have your trash out. We are going to put two extra trucks on the routes.”

Camden Public Works Director Kevin Franklin said, “We are working a day shift, evening shift and graveyard shift trying to get some of our streets clear. It’s still not safe so stay at home if you can. Hopefully, we can start trash pick up Saturday morning. It is still too dangerous to put our drivers in these conditions. If you are in the city limits put your trash out.. We will dedicate everyone we have to picking up everyone trash this weekend if travel permits. Thanks to the county for helping out whenever we call. Thanks for your patience.”
