An arrest has been made in connection to the 2020 murder of a Banks woman, according to Bradley County Sheriff Herschel Tillman.
Dilan Estes, 26, of Monticello has been charged with capital murder related to the death of Crissy Hayes, who was found dead in her home on July 13, 2020.
Estes had his first appearance before Judge Bruce Anderson Monday morning and was given no bond.
Her murder has been unsolved for more than a year, and Hayes' family has offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
Tillman said the motive for Hayes' murder is unknown at this time.
