The 8th Annual Searcy Harrell Memorial Golf was held successfully last Saturday despite the rainy forecast. The event is hosted by the Camden Kiwanis Club with the proceeds going towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation for a local child.
Greetings, jokes and friendly competition was in the atmosphere but in the end it was Team Campbell and Company that ultimately captured gold. The team consisted of Eddie Folse Jr., Jacob Wright, Clint Wright and Zach Russell.
Campbell and Company shot a 56 to edge out Team Jim Golden (57).
