A program at a local institution is looking to increase its enrollment with an event later this month.
SAU Tech’s Welding Academy of South Arkansas is inviting everyone to an open house from 5-6:30 p.m. on the campus. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet South Arkansas Instructor, Casey Burns and obtain information in regards to financial aid, admissions to the program and student life.

OVERSET FOLLOWS:According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, welding is a growing occupation in the country because of its salary and job security. It cites that many business are constantly looking for trained welders and that unlike many other professions, training is just as important as experience.
The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
