A local student athlete is garnering attention from the college ranks due to her accomplishments on the court.

Camden Fairview’s Miciah Fusilier was offered a scholarship from Ole Miss University earlier this week.

Fusilier is the daughter of Lloyd and LaDonna Fusilier. She just completed her sixth grade school year and already stands 6’3. Fusilier has been active in travel basketball since third grade and now suits up for the Arkansas Mavs Elite.

“People from colleges come to watch her play all the time,” LaDonna said. “Im just really proud of her and the work that she has put in.”

Fusilier lines up as a forward but has ball handling skills comparable to a guard.

Fusilier received heavy praise from Insider Exposure with one writer saying the following:

“I’m not sure if there’s another player in 2027 better than Miciah, she’s already super legit, with unbelievable size for her age and in a perfect lean athletic frame. She’s got some guard skills and there was notheing I saw that I didnt like. Literally every major D1 in the country should already be on her... and if she stays on pace will likely be the No. 1 player in 2027 nationally.”
