CAMDEN CONNIE RHOE ADAMSConnie Rhoe (Kreakbaum) Adams, 85 of Gravette, AR formerly of Camden, passed away March 4th, 2021, surrounded by her family following a very courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 19, 1935 in Marysville, Ohio to Lewis and Jane (Osborn) Kreakbaum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Homer E. Adams, and a brother James Riley. She is survived by her sons, Larry W. Adams (Mary) of Gravette, AR, and Michael R. Adams (Lyn) of DeWitt, AR, a daughter Dana Adams Sullivan (Patrick) of Kunshan City, People’s Republic of China, a sister, Peggy Miller(Charles) of Bellfontaine, Ohio, brothers Richard Riley(Maxine) of Bellfontaine, Ohio, and John Kreakbaum of Dalton, Georgia, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and one fur baby, Willow
She was a devoted wife, mother, foster mother, Gran and Granny Great. She worked many years as a nurse and later took up her passion of working with flowers and was owner of The Blossom Shop in Camden before retiring. She was an excellent seamstress, crocheting expert, and loved her adult coloring projects. She was always happy to teach anyone her skills and graciously share her crafts.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 9:30-11 am followed by a graveside service at 1:30 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to Circle of Life Hospice of Northwest Arkansas, Katlyn Davis her daytime companion and friend and Proctor Funeral Home in Camden for their assistance with preparation and arrangements.
