ABIGAIL K. ROGERS

Abigail Kathryn Rogers, 20 of Camden, AR passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was born August 02, 2000 to Gordon and Dana Rogers. Abigail is a recent graduate of Camden Fairview High School and a member of First United Methodist Church. Abigail was a very strong and special young lady in many ways. She loved to sing her songs, “read a book” and “take a picture.” She loved to blow out everyone’s candles and open all presents in sight. She was a life long fan of Lucky Charms and Barney and a more recent fan of Peppa Pig, Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious. She loved everyone she met and everyone loved her. Abigail fought the good fight surviving many, many long stays at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Thursday morning she went to be with Jesus…her body is now healed and her battle won.

Abigail is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jewel and Janive Rogers; and her uncles, Robert Angel, Phil Faulkner and Matt Gaston.

Abigail is survived by her parents, Gordon and Dana Rogers; brother, Reid Rogers; sister, Sarah Burleson and husband, Brooks; nephew, Hudson Burleson; grandparents, Dan and Paula Terry; aunts, Julie Angel, Sue Faulkner, Lanae Gaston and Rhonda Reynolds and husband, Jimmy; a multitude of loving cousins, special caregivers and friends.

Funeral services for Abigail will be 2:00PM Monday, May 17, 2021 at First United Methodist Church with Brother John Burleson and Reverend Beth Waldrup officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
