JAMES HARCROW

James David Harcrow, 86, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born December 1, 1934, in Ogemaw, Arkansas, to Woodrow and Virgie (Hogue) Harcrow. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters; Mary Smith, Billie Ann Harcrow and Sue Whitmer.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years; Carolyn (Nix) Harcrow, 3 children; Kathy (Charles) Palmer, David (Dedra) Harcrow and Tony Harcrow, 3 grandchildren; Tracy (Ken) Boone, Jay (Bretta) Palmer, and Heather Harcrow, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 1 sister; Loretta Smith, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

There will be a visitation Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 5:00-7:00 pm at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 9, 2021, 11:00 am at the Sardis Cemetery in Pine Grove, Arkansas. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. IRVING WILLIAMS

Irving "Irv" Harvey Williams, 87, was born July 23, 1934 in Monroe, Louisiana to Herman and Dorothy Ferguson Williams. He departed this life to live with our beloved Savior on August 24, 2021.

Irv was so many things to so many people: a beloved husband, father, dedicated hard working employee, devout Christian, woodworker, master gardener, taxidermist, hunter, and avid fisherman, but most of all a friend to all.

He worked for Commercial Solvents for several years before taking a job with Approved Engineering Test Labs which later changed their name to National Technical Systems. He retired there after forty-two years.

He enlisted in the Louisiana Army National Guard in 1953 until he was honorably discharged in 1956.

Irv was preceded in death by his parents, sister Peggy Williams Bailey, daughter Andra Williams Uecke, and beloved mother-in-law,

Eva Blades. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Bette Johnston Williams, sister Dorothy Williams Tatum, children Janice Williams Hernandez (Jerry), Randy Williams, Loretta Williams Tenbrink, Rusty Williams (Katie), Trecia Williams Steen (Ron), Tina Williams Pierce, twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, expecting the first great-great grandchild in October, three nephews, and numerous friends.

He was a 32nd degree Master Mason for fifty-four years where he served as Worshipful Master in California and Arkansas. He was a member of the Shriners of North America for forty years where he served as Potentate in 2006 and a Jester for fifteen years. He was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star for thirty-four years where he served as Worthy Patron.

A memorial service will held at Timothy United Methodist Church, 1800 California Ave, Camden, AR on September, 11, 2021 at 10:00 am.
