The Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy will be hosting a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event tonight from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at ALETA 6373 Hussey Road.
A press release from the organization states, " So far in 2002 there have been 246 mass shooting incidents in our country. These incidents occur at our schools, churches, workplaces and entertainment venues. CRASE training is designed to enhance your chance of survival should you become involved in one of these incidents."
The training is open to law enforcement offices, school administrators, plant managers, business owners and church offices.
