Chalres McAdams

Charles H. McAdams (Mr. Charlie), of Camden, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2022. He was born on August 13, 1925 in Nashville, Arkansas to Robert and Jenny McAdams.

Mr. Charlie spent most of his adult life in Camden, Arkansas. He made many life long friends. Everyone knew Mr. Charlie and has amemory they can share. He loved hunting and traveling. He lived life as an adventure and always to the fullest. He adored his family.

Mr. Charlie is preceeded in death by his parents, his brother Frank, his wife Betty and his son Rodney.

He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Sheppard (Steve); grandchildren, Charlie Sheppard, Brittany Floyd, Grace McAdams, his great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Special appreciation to Sharon Bennet, Dr. Lynn Elethorp, Tony Madlock, Tracy Madlock, Wendi and Carlie Nix and Christi Proffitt.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge on the arrangements. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 25th, 2022 at 2:00PM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas. Rev. Revel Kidd will officiate the service.

Walter Barkhimer

Walter Clifton Barkhimer, 82, died February 16, 2022. He was born October 18, 1939 in Camden, AR to Walter B. and Gladys May Smith Barkhimer. "Pee Wee" loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing in the river bottoms with his sons.

Mr. Barkhimer was preceded in death by two sons, Kenny Barkhimer and Paul Nowlin; two sisters, Katherine Morris and Rose Nichols and a brother, W. T. Barkhimer. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Barkhimer; five sons, Mark Barkhimer, Don Barkhimer, Andrew Osborne, William Osborne and Kelly Nowlin; a sister, Nell Jackson and a brother, Billy Ray Owen.

Linda Grayson

Linda Arrington Grayson, 71 of Stephens, AR, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Linda grew up in Stephens, a town she loved and never left, and devoted a lot of energy to bringing beauty to it. Linda enjoyed many hobbies and loved to travel. An avid cook, Linda loved serving meals to friends and family, and was happiest when she was surrounded by both. She had a larger-than-life personality and an infectious laugh. Linda will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Linda was preceded by her father, Bernard Arrington, and nephew, Ty Keith. Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Duncan Grayson, of Stephens, AR; son Shane Grayson; two daughters, Ashley Lyle and husband, Chris and Gretchen Stinnett and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Schyler and Micah Grayson and Parker Stinnett; mother, Melba Arrington; and 2 sisters, Diane Keith and husband, Phil and Kellie Thomas and husband, Michael; as well as three nephews and a niece.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 10:00AM at Stephens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Stephens Cemetery fund, at P.O.
