Hampton School District pivots to virtual instruction

The Hampton School District will pivot to a virtual learning schedule from Wednesday, Jan. 12 to Friday , Jan. 15 according to a letter from School Superintendent Doug Worley

The letter states, ".This pivot is due to the increase in the COVID positivity rate in students and staff. All extracurricular activities are suspended during this time.

"AMI Days count as instructional days and teachers will have assignments available for students. Make sure students check their emails for assignments. All staff will report to campus to work on-site. Teachers will be available through email if you have any questions or problems, or you are welcome to call the campus

"The Elementary Office can be reached at 798-6130 and the High School can be reached at 798-6104."

"At this time, we will return to On-site Instruction on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. We will make another announcement on January 17, 2022 if we need to extend this date. Currently we have over 120 students out either sick or quarantined and we wa'nt to prevent this number from rising. The safety of our students and staff is always important to us
