The NFL is constantly changing, with teams making moves to try to start their annual journey for a Super Bowl title.

Many teams are already out of the playoffs, and the other teams are wondering about their future past this season. Many of those teams may have made big changes to their rosters. There are expected changes at the starting quarterback position for several teams, with veteran quarterbacks retiring, released or moving on through trades.

The 2022 NFL Draft and a new free-agency will be a start for teams to be led by new franchise quarterbacks for the upcoming 2022 NFL season. Some of the top quarterbacks in the NFL will be looking to move on to new teams. The NFL quarterback carousel will be effective from the conclusion of the 2021 NFL regular season to the start of the 2022 NFL season.

The following teams will have these players as their starting quarterbacks when Week One of the 2022 NFL season starts, barring injuries and surprise retirements.

According to this list, nine of the 32 teams are expected to have a new starting quarterback next season. Some teams will look to move their current starters, like the Miami Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa and San Francisco 49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo, due to their inability to lead the franchise to a Super Bowl title.

Other playoff-caliber teams like the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans will look to trade their disgruntled quarterbacks for multiple first-round picks. There will be three blockbuster trades this off-season, with Green Bay trading Aaron Rodgers to Denver, Seattle trading Russell Wilson to New Orleans, and Houston trading Deshaun Watson to Pittsburgh. New Orleans, Pittsburgh and Denver will become instant Super Bowl contenders again by trading for elite quarterbacks.

Five quarterbacks could be selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Two of them will be projected to start when the season starts. Seattle will use their first-round picks acquired by New Orleans to select Liberty's Malik Willis. Miami will use one of their first-round picks acquired by trading Tua Tagovailoa to Washington to select Pittsburgh Panthers's Kenny Pickett. Ole Miss's Matt Corral will likely find himself higher than Willis and Pickett. He could be selected to teams like the New York Giants or the Minnesota Vikings to eventually take over as the franchise quarterback, especially when his leg injury is healed.
