Camden woman wins Miss Boomtown

Jan. 8, 2022, in the Murphy Arts District, El Dorado crowned the very first Miss Boomtown, Miss Boomtown's Outstanding Teen, Miss Pine Valley and Miss Pine Valley's Outstanding Teen. Under the direction of Torri Jacobs & Cindee Mason, these young women will now start preparing to compete for the state titles of Miss Arkansas and Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen in Little Rock this summer.

Winning contestants were; Miss Boomtown's Outstanding Teen- Mallory Stuckey of Rison with her social impact program, Love the Skin You're in: Melanoma Prevention and Awareness, Miss Boomtown- Shalexis Shelton of Camden with her social impact program: Shine a light on mental health., Miss Pine Valley Hannah Rainwater of Conway with her program: Strong, Smart, Bold: Empowering Girls of Tomorrow and Miss Pine Valley's Outstanding Teen Allison Frazier with her program Confidently You University.

The Miss Boomtown, Boomtown Outstanding Teen, Miss Pine Valley and Pine Valley Outstanding Teen Scholarship Competition is an official open preliminary of The Miss Arkansas and Arkansas' Outstanding Teen Scholarship Competition Organization and the Miss America Organization
