Earl Quinnon Maurice Quarles
Earl Quinnon Maurice Quarles, age 80, of Bearden, passed away July 2, 2022 in his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Annie Quarles, three brothers; Herschel, William, and Carlton and four sisters; Maxine Couch, Ernestine Deadmond, Christine Roark, and Ann Gresham. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlotte Abbott Quarles, and two daughters Holly (Rob) Fincher of Camden, AR., and Hope (Marc) Jones of Fayetteville, AR. He has one grandson Steven Jones of Fayetteville, AR. He was blessed with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Following graduation from Bearden High School, he began his career as a clerk for the Cotton Belt Railroad in Camden, AR. After 42 years of service as an agent for the Union Pacific railroad, he retired to spend his time with family and friends. He was a member of Bearden First Assembly of God in Bearden, AR. He was a member of the Camden Masonic Lodge and he loved spending time hunting, listening to gospel music, working in his yard, and attending many family gatherings.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bearden First Assembly of God Church, P.O. 479, Bearden, AR 71720. Visitation will be held at Bearden First Assembly of God Church in Bearden, AR. from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Services will be held immediately after visitation at the church at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Cemetery near Sparkman, AR. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. Robert L. Ethridge
Robert L. Ethridge, 89, died peacefully on July 4, 2022 at Beebe Retirement Center in Beebe, Arkansas. He was born November 19, 1932 in Warren, Arkansas to James Henry Ethridge and Esther Ophelia (Turner) Ethridge.
He is survived by his wife Betty of thirteen years; daughter Carolyn (Frank) Stock of Scottsdale, Arizona; stepsons John Sindle, of North Little Rock and Nicki (Laurie) Sindle of Beebe.
He was preceded in death by his son Stanley Ethridge.
