Camden man charged with raping teenager at gunpoint

A Camden man is currently being held on a $250,000 bond on charges of rape, aggravated residential burglary, terroristic threatening and criminal mischief.

Tevion Davis, 21, is accused of raping a 15 year old girl at gunpoint after contacting her on social media with a fake profile.

Court documents state that on May 8, Camden Police Officers spoke with a mother and her 15 year old daughter.

The daughter claimed she received a Snapchat request from "Li Mario", who was later revealed to be Davis. The two continued to message until the mother received a call from Davis's cousin, who said that he was asking for a ride to the victim's house. His cousin advised the mother that Davis was 21 and did not need to be speaking to her daughter and that she should remove the fake profile from her Snapchat account.

The victim then began receiving phone calls and texts, according to court records, later revealed to be coming from Davis. On May 4 the victim received a Snapchat message from Davis who allegedly found her address location through the app. The message stated that if she did not open the door, he would "shoot the house up," records state.

According to the victim's statement, she opened the door out of fear. Davis, dressed in all black, followed her to her room where he allegedly told her to take her clothes off while pointing a gun at her, according to court documents, before allegedly raping her.

After the incident, the report states the victim kept receiving phone calls from Davis stating "Why aren't you communicating with me?" "You need to stop playing with me" and "Me and my homeboys are going to shoot up your house."

Davis then allegedly used a fake Facebook profile and messaged the victim stating. "Now look wat I did to ya'll car". An expletive was scratched into the paint, records state.

CPD officers followed up with Davis and asked if they could look at his phone. Pictures of the fake profile were on the phone and Davis said that they were sent to him from another male to send to the victim.

Davis denied having contact with the victim, but his phone records showed he called her and had her listed in his contact information. The call log showed he called her multiple times in a short time frame, according to court records.
