A Louisiana woman has been charged with shoplifting after the Camden Police Department alleged she stole several items from the Camden Walmart on May 12, 2022.

Ajia Bocade, 19, of New Orleans is accused of taking six lemons, 3 bags of gulf shrimp, three types of sausages, packaged salad, stew meat, cheese, a six pack of Cayman Jack margaritas, 3 pounds of ground beef, cool whip and bottled water.

According to a police report from CPD states that officers were dispatched in reference to shoplifting.

Upon arrival officers met with Walmart's Asset Protection manager who said he observed Bocage putting items in a shopping bag at self check out that were not paid for.

Officers reviewed video that appeared to show Bocage not scan the items and place them directly in the bag.

Bocage was taken into custody and released with a criminal citation and given a court date of June 15, 2022.
