The Harmony Grove School District has called a special school board meeting for Thursday, May 26.
The school board will be meeting to discuss several new potential hires that could result in significant personnel changes.
According to the meeting agenda, school board members will vote on the hiring of a new social studies teacher who would also be the assistant basketball and track coach; a new middle school science teacher who would also be the assistant baseball and football coach; and a new District Special Education Supervisor.
The school board will also be discussing the potential transfer of a cafeteria faculty worker from Sparkman to Harmony Grove.
Additionally, the school board will be discussing the resignation of an instructor from Harmony Grove Elementary.
The Harmony Grove School District held their last scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 12. The special school board meeting for May 26 will be held in the Harmony Grove School District Board room at 6:30 p.m.
