Leonard C. Harvey age 76 of Bearden died Thursday, April 20, 2023 at his home. He was born June 3, 1946 in Ava, MO. He was retired manager of thirty six years for Water and Waste Water at Shumaker in Highland Park in East Camden. Leonard loved being outdoors in the woods, in his garden and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Victory Church in Camden and was an Army Vietnam Veteran.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Harvey and Delvie Fleetwood Harvey; two brothers, Edward Harvey and Blaine Harvey; two grandchildren, Johnathan Harvey and Sydney Harvey. He is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Aleita Harvey of Bearden; three sons, Kenny (Jamie) Harvey of Camden, Chris (Tania) Harvey of Harmony Grove, Ryan Harvey of East Camden; three sisters, Helen Burns of Polo, MO, Norma Hampton of Kissee Mills, MO, Thelma Narromore of Branson, MO; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Victory Church in Camden with Rev. Jerry Ables and Rev.
