Police searching for suspect in fleeing incident that left 2 officers injured

The Dallas County Sheriffs Office is seeking the public's assistance in the search for a suspect charged with felony fleeing after an accident that left two Fordyce police officers injured.

Fredrick Rainey is wanted for felony fleeing involving injury.

Dallas County Sheriff Mike Knoedl posted on Facebook, "I am currently on the scene in Bradley County of a pursuit that originated in Fordyce. All Dallas County Deputies are fine and on scene with me. Unfortunately, two Fordyce police officers sustained serious injuries in the accident with the suspect vehicle. They have been med flighted to Little Rick are hospitals."

Arkansas State Police searched for Rainey yesterday using helicopters and dog teams, according to Sheriff Knoedl.

Both Fordyce police officers remain hospitalized at UAMS with one expected in surgery, as of Tuesday morning.
