Tates Bluff Chapter hosted a ceremony for DAR Good Citizens and an NJROTC Award winner at our February 27th meeting in the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Members Kathy Adcock, Shelia Beard, and Regent Annie Mae Stafford did an outstanding job pulling this event together.
Recepients were Zion Bragg, Camden Fairview High School, Madison Richardson, Harmony Grove High School, and Jamalachi Beets from Bearden High School.
The NJROTC award went to Petty Officer First Class Jasmine Bivens of Camden Fairview High School pictured below with DAR member Shelia Beard. Each student received a pin, certificate, and a monetary award. Camden Fairview High School Lt. Commander James Smith, JROTC, and the CFHS Color Guard, parents, and friends were welcome guests.
