Camden celebrates Cinco De Mayo at First Friday

First Friday Monthly Market in Camden, AR announces the theme for its May market is "Cinco de Mayo". Come to downtown Camden, AR on May 5 to enjoy a great time shopping, eating, listening to live music and visiting.

A large array of vendors will be showing their wares, with everything from house plants, succulents, resin art, fresh cut flowers, honey, pickles, fresh veggies and farm raised beef.

We will have a special book signing with author Phillip Shackleford and his new book "Rise of the Mavericks"

Aaron Reynolds will also perform.

The release states," The Cotton Belt and the Ouachita River form a crossroads near Frenchport, Arkansas, where Aaron Reynolds picked up his first guitar. In the Queen City of the Ouachita River, Aaron began putting together a unique style, marrying gritty country and blues with fuzzy riff rock.

Bring your lawn chairs and plan to stay a while for this crowd favorite."

Queen City Train Rides will be back at this market. Boarding will be close to Farmer's Bank parking lot. Before, after or during your time at the market take time to enjoy a ride!

Additionally the Camden Police Department will have a demonstration on the dangers of drunk driving with a simulator showing the visual impairment caused by alcohol.
