Judson Lindsey was elected Camden Fairview Zone 6 School board member with 64 to 45 voted running against Malcolm Jamar Johnson.
Running unopposed was Maria Daniel for Zone 5.
Daniel is an acive member of the Camden Fairview Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization and in a statement to the Camden News said, "I believe my relationships with FES staff and families will help me be an engaged board member who is a voice for teachers and young families. I enjoy working with FES parents and staff to plan, organize and execute fundraisers, appreciation meals, and donations to further our goal of supporting FES staff and students."
"Although I am running unopposed, I would like to receive your support and let you know that my commitment to our school district, staff, children, and community is strong."
Ben Goss was also running unopposed for his Zone 7 seat.
An unchanged millage was also voted on with 101 for and 25 against.
