Leotis Kendricks was born May 27, 1933, to Clayton and Lillie (Highsmith) Kendricks in Camden, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Gloria Jean (Kendricks) McCree and his brother: L J Kendricks. He was also preceded in death by his eldest son Kenneth Wayne Kendricks, and his grandson's Timothy and Scott Kendricks.
Leotis loved to fish, hunt and truly enjoyed entertaining and cooking for his friends. He was a carpenter who left in the community many homes filled with his work. He specialized in residential remodeling, custom cabinetry and a wide range of handy services.
He was united in matrimony to Lillie Mae (Hunter) Kendricks on August 19, 1954. To this union was five sons: Kenneth, Lester, Kevin, Reginald and Gregory and one daughter: Shevonne.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sons: Lester, Camden, Arkansas; Kevin (Patricia), Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Reginald, Camden, Arkansas, Gregory (Stacey), Camden, Arkansas; and one daughter: Shevonne Thompson (Clifton) Dallas, Texas; grandchildren: Mesha, Little Rock, Arkansas; and LeNya, Cross Roads Texas and four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relative, family and friends.
