Following their triumph in the Regional Tournament, where they displayed their skill and determination, the Lady Rockets continued their winning streak in the Central Plains District Championship against Jefferson Community College.
In a thrilling showdown the Lady Rockets showcased their prowess on the court, emerging victorious with a final score of 72 to 64. With this remarkable win, they cemented their status as the District Champions, sending waves of excitement and pride through their fans and supporters.
Their journey to success doesn't end here. The #11 SAU Tech Lady Rockets have set their sights on the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship in Joplin, MO. The anticipation is high as they prepare to face off against formidable opponents, the #6 Mesa Thunderbirds, on March 18 at 8:00 PM CT.

The Lady Rockets basketball team currently includes #1 Carson Defries, #5 Aaliyah Washington, #13 Kyra Bradley, #15 Jaida Minter, #20 Sidney Townsend, #21 Ty'Renisha Bowers, #22 Ja'Niya Harper, #23 Laila Minter, #24 Tyanna Simpson, #30 Kalea Dean, and #32 Natalya Senat.
Their coaches include Head Women's Coach Aramie Brooks as well as Assistant Coaches Marcus Copeland, Mike Davis, Courtney Page, and LaClaire Williams.
